Two of the cats we are trying to rescue
We've been keeping an eye on two cats in the neighborhood, Whisker and Paws. Whisker has been struggling with feline viral rhinotracheitis, making it difficult for him to eat. Despite our efforts, he wouldn't touch the food we provided. After days of worry, there's finally a glimmer of hope as he's eaten today. We're adapting our strategy, planning to mix his medicine pills into high-quality cat food to ensure he gets the treatment he needs.
As for Paws, we spotted him today and it seems he's fallen ill too, likely from his brother. Like Whisker, he's refusing to eat. Tomorrow, we're taking action, planning to cage him and take him to the vet for proper treatment. It's crucial to isolate him from the other cats as the illness is contagious, and we can't risk it spreading to the other 15 cats in the neighborhood.
